The City of Barrie and the Barrie Construction Association have partnered to host a Construction Industry Job Fair at the Allandale Recreation Centre.
Whether you're new to the industry and or an experienced worker, join us to explore in-demand roles, network with local employers and peers, and take a step toward building or growing a career in construction and construction-related industries.
Pre-registration is not required for job seekers. Just drop in and network! Bring copies of your resume and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews.
A representative from the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program will also be at the fair to provide guidance to students aged 16 and older who are interested in apprenticeships in the construction industry.
We welcome and encourage participation from people with disabilities. Accommodations are available upon request for participating job seekers. If you require accommodation to participate in the job fair (for example, ASL interpretation or other communication supports), please contact Sophia Candrasa at sophia.candrasa@barrie.ca by May 19, 2026.
