Interior design and astrology have been around for decades. However, owner of Infinite Prosperity, Katalin Malatinszky, has taken her love of the two and combined them to create her dream business.
Katalin firmly believes that a mystical intelligence surrounds us everywhere we go, dating back through ancient cultures and age-old wisdom. Elements and energies of Feng Shui, the meaning of numbers in numerology, the influence of the stars and planets in astrology, and the subconscious intelligence of colours, should all be incorporated into any design.
With her education in interior design, Katalin comes prepared with a number of tools in her tool belt to tackle any project – commercial or residential. What is your favourite part about being an entrepreneur?
My favourite part about being an entrepreneur is creating personal service and relationships with clients.
What inspired you to start a business?
Creativity, fashion & interior design have been my passion ever since I was young. I have been very fortunate to receive my early childhood junior education in an Experimental Style Teaching System back in my hometown and country of Budapest, Hungary. I truly believe and know that my European flair for education provided me with the base and influenced my interest in further studying design and my later fascination with our mystical world.
I graduated from the Interior Decorating program at Seneca College in North York in 2003. I specialized in custom-made soft window coverings. I have been fascinated by the beauty of the natural world throughout my life, drawn to and feeling comforted by the elements mother nature has created.
I completed a few courses in the well-recognized Ultimate Academy with personal development and constant learning. I became a Certified Feng Shui Specialist in 2018, then met a program and got Certified in Professional Organizing in 2019.
My journey searching for answers to life took me to explore various philosophies, beliefs, and ancient wisdom, allowing me to realize a deeper connection between design principles and the laws of the natural world.

What has been your favourite space to redesign?
My favourite overall space to redesign is one that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, that mirrors and enhances the inner transformation of my clients. Past projects have included complete condo renovations, an outdoor living and storage addition, and a commercial office makeover of the HomeStars head office.
How did you come up with your business name?
The name was inspired by wanting to capture the greater meaning of the endless possibilities in designing person space and inner growth.
What is unique about your business?
Combining all aspects of design principles, teachings of Feng Shui, wisdom of astrology and human psychology, and your Zodiac blueprint at birth. These all capitalize on your natural world’s gifts and enhance your physical world, surroundings, and emotional well-being.

If you could design a house for anyone in the world, who would it be and what theme would you give it?
I’d love to design Elon Musk’s space with the theme of conscious living that plays on their new tiny homes for sustainable living.
