What is your favourite part about being an entrepreneur?
My favourite part about being an entrepreneur is being able to sell what you love and love what you do.
What inspired you to start a business?
What got me inspired to start my own businesses was how much I love to grow and create products, while also inspiring others about the products I enjoy.
What products or services do you offer?
I sell a variety of products including:
- Bath bombs & salts
- Microgreens
- Microgreen set-up with trays and seeds
- Hemp beeswax wick
- Organic cotton beeswax wraps
What is your favourite way to spend a day outdoors?
Really everything, but if I had to pick it would be gardening, hiking, biking, kayaking or going to the beach!
How did you come up with your business name?
I came up with my business name by thinking about what matters to me and what would relate to helping love the planet.
What is a cause that you deeply care about?
Great Lakes and the environment, with an emphasis on trees!
What is unique about your business?
What’s unique about my business is that every purchase helps plant trees in a local Ontario community.
Where do you see your business going in the next 12-24 months?
In the next 1 to 2 years, I see myself at more farmers’ markets and running the business full-time.
What crazy activities do you dream of trying someday?
I dream of trying kiteboarding on Georgian Bay!
What do you hope to achieve through the Starter Company Plus program?
I hope to achieve more marketing skills to help me improve all aspects of my businesses, which will result in increased sales.
