The Annual GAN Annual Angel Investing Winter Summit is taking place January 28–30, 2026, gathering angel investors, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and ecosystem partners focused on angel investing in life sciences and the trends shaping angel investing in 2026.
Hosted at the Sandbox Centre in Barrie, Ontario, the GAN Angel Investing Winter Summit brings together experienced and emerging angels for two days of a keynote presentation, expert panels, interactive workshops, and peer-to-peer discussions designed to address the realities of investing in a rapidly changing market.
The GAN Angel Investing Winter Summit will open with a curated startup pitch competition, featuring companies selected by the GAN Selection Committee. These companies will present to Summit attendees, with the winning company receiving a $10,000 cash prize, in partnership with McQuarrie Highland.
On Day Two, the Winter Summit will feature a Life Sciences Funds presentation and panel discussion, hands-on workshops focused on defending and evolving the angel investing model, using AI to improve investment processes, and developing effective exit strategies, as well as structured opportunities for networking and knowledge sharing.
On the third final day, enjoy 1:1 meetings on the chairlifts at Mt. St. Louis Moonstone in partnership with reIGNITE Conference. The final day of the GAN Angel Investing Winter Summit will provide an informal setting for continued conversations and relationship-building (attendees are responsible for their own ski-related costs).
