The Starter Company Plus program is funded by the government of Ontario and delivered by the Small Business Centre of Barrie, Simcoe County and Orillia. The program is designed to help entrepreneurs start, grow or buy a business. Participants receive mentorship from experienced business professionals, access to valuable training and networking opportunities, as well as the opportunity to pitch for up to $5,000 in micro-grants.

Hagop Vanayan and Mobile Marksmen Corporation offers a state-of-the-art mobile compressed air shooting gallery that can be transported to different events, including corporate team-building events, festivals, fairs, private parties, and law enforcement training exercises. Their portable facility is designed to accommodate shooters of all ages and skill levels, providing a safe environment for event attendees to enjoy the experience of a Nerf and/or Airsoft Shooting Range responsibly. Mobile Marksmen Corporation brings the shooting range to you and your event, including Nerf/Airsoft weapons, compressed air, ammo, protective eyewear and safety briefs, party prizes like keychains and candy, and 360 video capabilities.

What is your favourite part about being an entrepreneur?
My favourite part of being an entrepreneur is the potential of being my own boss.
What inspired you to start a business?
I had an idea and wanted to see it come to fruition.
What services/ products do you offer?
I run a mobile shooting gallery using air compressed devices such as nerf and airsoft.
Who do you look up to for inspiration when it comes to either being an entrepreneur or your business?
Simply having fun and inspiring others to join my team.
How did you come up with your business name?
Mobile Marksmen Corporation just sort of came to me, but it really does describe what I'm doing and what it is.
What is unique about your business?
As far as I known, I'm the only mobile compressed air shooting gallery of its kind.
What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about entrepreneurship through your journey?
It's a lot of work, time, and money.
What’s the best piece of advice you would give to another entrepreneur?
Make sure you can handle the financial commitment before you get started.
What do you hope to achieve through the Starter Company Plus program?
My goals are to make the most of the networking, mentorship, funding opportunities, among other things.
